I want to say "Thank You!" to a friend and mentor of mine, who passed this along to me yesterday. While watching this video, I was reminded of all the folks whom I've encountered this past year who expressed their desires to become Day Job Rebels.
Sadly, a lot of us would like to blame the economy for our woes. I say hogwash. The next time you go out and you pass by your favorite restaurant, gas station, mall, etc. Take a good look around the parking lot. Chances are, they're occupied by people who ARE spending money. Now take a look at all those cars, and think about the fact that those very same people have bought clothes, gas, food, and have paid monthly for cell phones, utilities and shelter over the past year. Honestly, has the economy truly been stifled? Or is it just YOU, who doesn't see that the world is full of opportunity and propsperity? Why do merchants see money on trees EVERYDAY, and somehow YOU dont?
Who Am I? Who Am I supposed to become? Who can help me?
What do I need to do? What will happen if I don’t follow through?
When will I accomplish my goal (s)? When will I become who I was destined to be?
Where would I like to BE in this moment, this day, this week, this month, this year?
How soon can I make it happen? How come I haven’t made it happen yet?
Why do I need to accomplish my goal (s) immediately? What Am I doing to improve my position today?

I don't know...maybe some of you may or may not remember a couple of these infommercial kings of the late 80's and 90's
I vividly remember during late night summers, when I was allowed to stay up in the wee hours of the night. Every night, my main man Tommy Vu, would come on. Boy, how I wanted to be just like him! The fancy cars, mansion, and not to mention the nice looking babes on the yacht!
I don't know where ol' Tommy is today. Heard he got into a little legal trouble because of taxes. Don't know how true that is, but I do want to say THANK YOU TOMMY! Without you, I'd probably be stuck in the mindset of working 40+ years, still waiting on the fancy cars, mansion, and not to mention nice looking babes on a yacht.
